Visiting Washington DC

After reflecting on it, this was a great trip!
It was a bit on the chilly side a few of the days we were there and spring was just barely starting to make showing with some greenery and the blossoms. However there were some really great things to see.

It was the Cherry Blossom Festival.

They were blooming.
But not everything was blooming.
Could see lots of cherry blossoms looking over the Potomac River/Tidal Basin
It happened to be the Kite Flying portion of the Cherry Blossom Festival while we were there one day. Which meant more crowds than anything.
These cherry blossoms were very pale but were still beautiful.

We saw some monuments also:

Lincoln memorial from the WWII Memorial (Apparently I didn't take pictures of the World War II memorial.)
Vietnam War
Abraham Lincoln

Korean War

Franklin Delano Roosevelt
 Marine Corps
George Washington
Martin Luther King Jr.
Thomas Jefferson

We saw some gardens:

Gotta say I love the Chinese Magnolia Blossoms more than the Cherry Blossoms

Squirrel!

I loved the architecture:

Saw some rocks:

Saw some flying things:

I have lots more pics. But realized I would be here all day if I kept adding them.
Let me know if you want to see more!
